I love e.l.f. Cosmetics. People always are so shocked when I tell them it's one of my go-to brands. I'm always confused by this because it really is such an awesome brand. What cosmetics consumers don't understand is that makeup is actually really cheap to produce and e.l.f. produces the same quality makeup as high end brands at a fair and affordable cost. Also, e.l.f. Cosmetics is a vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics company. This is something that is so important to me. I would hate to think a cute little bunny had to test out my lipstick (something that could be immensely harmful to this cute little bunny) just so I could rock the perfect shade of red.
I couldn't be more proud to work with a brand like e.l.f. Cosmetics. I was lucky enough to participate in their Beautyscape Weekend in San Francisco at the beginning of the summer where I was able to meet some amazing women who are innovating the beauty industry. e.l.f. is doing some amazing things and have achieved some amazing milestones this summer. They are now a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange and have opened several free-standing store locations this summer in the greater LA area. By keeping in touch with some of the fabulous and inspiring women I met at Beautyscape, I was lucky enough to get to experience one of the new e.l.f. stores in LA.
The official e.l.f. loves LA opening event was the day I flew home from Korea, so I unfortunately had to miss it. I was lucky enough to have a shopping experience set up, so I could tour the store. Upon walking up to the e.l.f. store you immediately see it, the all black store pops among the others in the Westfield Fashion Square Mall. I was able to catch up with Sarah, whom I met at the e.l.f. Beautyscape weekend as she gave me a tour of the store. The e.l.f. store is gorgeous—it has a huge marble table it the middle of the store for 1-on-1 makeup lessons and to play beautifully. They encourage you to play with makeup and have fun. What made the e.l.f. store tour so magically was seeing my face and the face of some of my fellow BeautyScape Babes on the big screen they have in the center of the store.
Two e.l.f. Cosmetics lines I am over the moon for are the Aqua Beauty and Beautifully Bare lines. The Aqua Beauty line was kbeauty inspired which I love and the Beautifully Bare line I love because of its minimalist approach and hint of kbeauty inspiration.
The Aqua Beauty line has the most amazing liquid eye shadows which are super easy to use and apply. The favorite is the Molten Bronze shade. From the Beautifully Bare line I love the Foundation Serum and 3-in-1 primer. What's even better is that all these products are affordable.
