#PLCaliGirls - Peach & Lily LA Opening

By this point it's safe to assume that ya'll know how I feel about Korean beauty. No matter how much beauty and skincare products I stock up on during my Seoul Beauty Trips, I always seem to run out of this and that. Which is why I thank the beauty gods for Peach & Lily.

Peach and Lily is primarily an e-commerce based store, with one store in store location in New York but now they have a second on the West Coast. YAY! Peach & Lily just opened a location at the Macy's inside the Westfield Santa Anita mall and I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening of the LA location.

The Peach & Lily blog is something I follow religiously. I always take note and remember any secrets the Peach & Lily founder, Alicia Yoon, shares via social media. So the fact that I got invited to meet her and get a personalized skin consult with her was the ultimate dream. You can bet I was totally fan girl-ing.

The event was super intimate, consisting of a group of nine so cal influencers and Alicia Yoon. The first part of the event she spent a lot of 1-on-1 time with each influencer giving them a personalized skin consultation and recommended Peach & Lily products that would help enhance your skin radiance. The four products Alicia recommended for me are the Cremorlab Refreshing Cleansing Gel Oil, Be The Skin Botanical Pore Toner, Mizon Mela Defense White Capsule Essence and The Lotus Lotus Leaf and Lemon Mist.

The Cremorlab Refreshing Cleansing Gel Oil was recommended to help cleanse my skin without stripping my skin and still would keep it nourished. The Be The Skin Botanical Pore Toner is used to help balance my skin's pH levels while hydrating and nourishing my skin. The Mizon Mela Defense White Capsule Essence was suggested to help with my hyper-pigmentation and indentation from previous acne scaring (something I am SUPER self conscious about). Lastly, The Lotus Lotus Leaf and Lemon Mist has has antioxidant properties to protect skin from further damage due to environmental factors while the lemon oil is rich in Vitamin C, helping skin to clear pores of dead skin for a smoother, brighter complexion.

The second part of the event she took us to high tea at The Langham in Pasadena and shared her skin secrets and gave us an insight into the new Peach & Lily mask line which is coming out at the end of summer. I'll be putting another post together with what she shared regarding benefits of masking, how she masks and her in-flight skincare routine along with a 30-day mask challenge I'll be doing. So keep an eye out!
