Care/of Jennifer

I first found Care/of on Instagram and because I'm a sucker for good packaging... I was sold. I'll be honest, I probably remember to take my vitamins three to four times per week. But the individual daily packaging makes taking my vitamins so simple and easy. I leave the box on my desk at work and will keep a handful of extras in my purse so I have my vitamins for the weekend and those days I work from home. Keeping the box on my desk right next to my computer ensures I take a pack every day I'm at work.

Each Care/of pack is custom tailored to your personal needs. My pack consists of three vitamins and supplements: Ashwagandha, Astaxanthin and Vitamin B12. Many of you know I struggle with stress and anxiety. I hate having to take xanax when I'm having a full blown anxiety attack because after I take it, I always feel "out of it" and not on my A game. Ashwagandha has been clinically studied for more than two decades on its effectiveness with supporting stress. It is commonly known as the "Indian Ginseng", and has been used for thousands of years in traditional Indian medicine. Quite literally a chill pill, it definitely helps me manage my stress. The Ashwagandha supplement in the Care/of pack is also vegetarian, non-GMO and gluten free.

The second pill in my Care/of pack is Astaxanthin. I first heard of Astaxanthin after I started using a face cream from DHC that was jam packed with Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin has been shown in clinical studies to increase skin moisture, moisture retention, elasticity, as well as promote skin smoothness, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. Astaxanthin has incredible UV-blocking properties, which helps to assist the skin in protecting itself from sun-related damage. But surprise, surprise Astaxanthin also helps with your memory. It is a naturally-occurring carotenoid found in algae and seafood. It's a powerful antioxidant that's been clinically studied for maintaining both skin and cognitive health. This supplement is non-GMO and gluten free.

The last pill in my pack is B12. I've been taking B12 for the past two months because I cut meat out of my diet. B12 is naturally found in meat so because I'm not eating meat I'm not getting my daily dose of B12 anymore. This essential vitamin helps the body with energy metabolism, keeps blood cells healthy, and is used to make DNA. The B12 vitamin in the Care/of pack is non-GMO, fermented, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.
