iS Clinical Serums
March was madness. My personal life was hanging on my a thread and my skin was an absolute nightmare. The Caudalie Vine[Activ] range helped my skin gets its radiance and glow back but I owe an arm and a leg to the iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum and iS Clinical Active Serum. I'm eternally grateful to the SkinStore.com for sending me these serums. These two serums help keep the break outs at bay. iS Clinical is an innovative skincare line backed by science. I've been really into the "science and bio-tech" skincare lines lately. iS Clinical has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Allure magazine (and more) and is a skincare line that is loved by celebrities such as Dianna Agron and Rosie Huntington-Whitley.
The iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum is one of those miracle products that works after a couple uses. This miracle serum is loaded with Vitamins C, E and A and contains Olive Leaf extracts; all of which are powerful antioxidants and contain healing properties. I initially was using this product in almost a wasteful manner. I was applying it all over my face. But after reading reviews online I found that I could use it in a more sparingly fashion and just apply a small drop on my trouble spots. It worked all the same. No use wasting a good product on the majority of my skin when I could just use it on my blemishes and acne. In addition to treating acne the iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum is awesome for treating rosacea, some forms of dermatitis and even insect bites! That's what I love about this brand not only, is it skincare, but it's clinical skincare backed by science to help treat skin issues beyond the fine lines and wrinkles.
Wowzaaaa. That's the first word that comes to mind when I think about the first time I used the iS Clinical Active Serum. This little bottle packs a huge punch! One of the active ingredients in this serum is menthol, so you feel a cool, tingly sensation immediately after use. I make sure and squeeze 4-5 drops into my palms and rub into my face. I made the mistake once of applying the droplets directly onto my face (I hate wasting product, so I try and apply whatever I can directly onto my face) and it was a bit too intense for me. Also, I wouldn't suggest applying too close to your eyes. I've never used a product before that had a noticeable minty, tingly sensation and weirdly enough... I love it! I feel like it contributes to that clean and fresh feeling. However, the menthol may not be for everyone. I was surprised that even with my sensitive skin, I didn't have any adverse reactions. This is one product I would definitely recommend spot testing before use.
What attracted me to the iS Clinical Active Serum was the fact that it is amazing for acne and blemish prone skin and a lot of online reviews I've read said they say results within a couple days. I'm not one of those "I need instant results" with my skincare type of person. I know that skincare is a long and regimented process and that your skin will gradually improve over time, if you give it the attention and care it deserves. But coming out of a breakup where my skin was less than its normal state, I was reaching for anything and everything that would improve it. The iS Clinical Active Serum helped keep the blemishes and acne at bay. No wonder its backed by gorgeous supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitley.
These two serums are now products I cannot imagine not having in my skincare arsenal. Yes, they are a bit pricey but they're totally worth it. I use the iS Clinical Active Serum everyday and have been since I got it back in March and I still have about half the bottle left. The iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum I use as needed on trouble spots and I'm maybe 3/4 of the way through the bottle. So these products do last a good amount of time. I would definitely recommend for those prone to breakouts and blemishes. Make sure you read the instructions and spot test before using all over because everyones skin is different and reacts differently.
